After the completion of the plant for the professional laundry systems, Chuchawal Royal Haskoning was requested to design the new Wet Plant for the manufacturing of front loading washing machines. The facility was part of the master plan of the larger site as developed by Chuchawal Royal Haskoning previously. The building has a footprint of 10,000 m2 and mezzanine offices of 1,200 m2. The project included the external works with land fill and retaining walls up to 6 m. high. Chuchawal Royal Haskoning did the architectural and structural design, as well as the building services system and utility supplies to the assembly lines. Besides that Chuchawal Royal Haskoning handled the project management, construction management and safety management of the project. The project was completed in 600,000 hours without any “lost time injuries”.
